I have previously worked in both the NHS and private sectors as an audiologist and have additional scope of practice training in wax removal. I follow the BSA's Recommended Procedure for Ear Examination and Practice Guidance in Aural Care (Ear Wax Removal) and management guidance within the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) Clinical Knowledge Summary for Wax.
